Oxford Gender Equality Festival 2010

Home

The Oxford Gender Equality Festival will run for 3 weeks between 29th October and 19th November.

The Gender Equality Festival (shortened to "Geoff" if you like) is for engaging people of all walks of life in issues of gender and feminism. We want to do this in a celebratory and interactive way, with collaborative art, socials, and music as well as a diverse range of talks and lectures. It is being organised by members of the Oxford University Student Union Women's Campaign (affectionately termed WomCam) as well as the new Gender Progress Campaign, in collaboration with many other student and local groups.  Please explore this website for details of events and workshops and how to contribute to the festival with your own work (see competitions).

We're very keen for anyone who shares our aspiration for Gender Equality to get involved with the festival, either by attending or by helping us to put it on!  Whether you're an individual or group, student or resident, If you have an idea for an event or would like to help with organising please get in touch.
